IP V4 was passed in June 2000 - and thrown in teh garbage by Microsoft 12/2000 - when they said they will NOT rewrite any code to accomodoate IP V4!!! So it stayed the same!!!!!!!

That my friend, is not true. In fact, EVERYTHING had to be redisgnend, and would not be a ISO standard anymore. IPv6 was designend later after to ensure maximum compability.
